[06]-My journey to become an AWS Certified Solutions Architect-Associate
Introduction
Hi People,
So, recently I have passed my AWS Solutions Architect-Associate exam. And since then I have been receiving multiple texts from people regarding this exam and how I cleared this. So, I thought it’s better to pen down my experience here.
How I approached this exam
Talking about the AWS Solutions Architect-Associate Exam, it is of 1000 marks and to pass the exam you have to exceed the cut-off of 720 marks i.e. the passing criteria for this exam is to get a score of 72%. The duration is of 130 minutes(Trust me, you will finish your exam before that. I have submitted it 40 minutes before the time). The exam level is intermediate. There would be 65 questions in the exam and all are multiple-choice questions. Few will be more than one option correct(2 options would be correct) and the rest all will be having a single option correct. And the questions will be having weightage accordingly.
AWS is wide and each exam organised by AWS has a fixed level. AWS Solutions Architect-Associate is meant for the people who want to get a complete idea about all the services which are offered by AWS. According to Amazon Web Services, it is intended for individuals who perform a solutions architect role and have one or more years of hands-on experience designing available, cost-efficient, fault-tolerant, and scalable distributed systems on AWS.
AWS has the best documentation to refer to but it’s too wide and to get a complete knowledge of this exam course, you can follow any tutorial from any website you have access to. I prepared it from Udemy.

After completing this course you will get an idea about all the services and the content required to pass this exam. This tutorial includes hands-on experience videos as well. So if you are working on AWS and already practising through AWS console that is well and good but if not, then nothing to worry about, this course will help you.
Then, you can go for practice sets. And after taking the exam, I have personally felt that practice exams are actually very crucial before you take this exam.

Keep on solving these practice sets again and again. The questions mentioned in these practice exams are of a similar level that you will see in the exam. And if you reach a score of 90% and above in all these exams, you are all set to take the AWS Solutions Architect-Associate exam.
